Gusto Gourmet Laurel Delivery Information
We're excited to offer delivery options to make enjoying our delicious meals even more convenient for you. Here are some important directions to ensure smooth delivery:

Local (Laurel only) deliveries will be made every Tuesday between 9:00am and 12:30pm to the address you provided when ordering. **There is a $3 delivery fee for local delivery and free delivery for orders over $30.**

If you won't be home during delivery hours, we kindly ask you to set out a large cooler (or two for larger orders) that our delivery team can use to store your meals. Please provide a bag of ice or reusable ice packs (enough to last all day in the heat) for each cooler. Each cooler should be clearly labeled with the same name you made the order with.

For your convenience, we offer XL soft-sided insulated coolers for $25 each, and bags of ice at an additional cost of $3.50 per bag. You can add those to your cart during checkout, if needed. If you forget to provide your own cooler, you will be required to pick up your order during pickup time from 5:30pm to 6:00pm at Red Rooster Kitchen in Laurel.

Upon delivery, please ensure that your cooler(s) are easily accessible to our delivery team. Preferably on the front step on near the front of the house. They will place your meals inside the cooler(s) and leave the cooler in the location you left it. If your cooler won't be easily visible from the front step, please leave a note when placing your order on where it will be located.

It's important to transfer your prepped meals to your fridge or freezer as soon as possible to maintain freshness and quality. Each meal lasts up to 5 days from delivery in the fridge. Freeze what won't be used immediately to keep food fresh.

At Gusto Gourmet, we are committed to not only providing delicious and convenient meals but also to supporting earth-friendly practices every step of the way. We believe that taking care of our planet is just as important as taking care of our bodies. Here's how we're doing our part:
1. Recycling: We are dedicated to minimizing our environmental footprint by recycling all plastics, aluminum cans, and cardboard used in creating our food. By recycling these materials, we reduce waste and conserve valuable resources.

2. Sustainable Waste Management: Instead of sending food scraps to landfills, we utilize them in a more eco-friendly manner. Edible scraps are donated to feed local animals, helping to reduce food waste and support the well-being of our furry friends. Inedible scraps are composted into nutrient-rich soil, which is then used to nourish local gardens and promote sustainable agriculture.

3. Reusable Containers: We are proud to use reusable containers for our meal packaging. Additionally, we strongly encourage our customers to return their containers to us after enjoying their meals. Please leave your clean, used containers in the cooler you provide for delivery. We alternatively have a drop-off box located outside Red Rooster Kitchen, in the back alley. It is a black bin labeled "Gusto Containers" in bright orange. Please remember to thoroughly clean your used containers before putting them in the drop-off box. Each container is meticulously washed, sanitized, and inspected before being used again, ensuring both hygiene and sustainability.
